Quality Monitoring Officer/ Compliance Assistant
Squared Financial is seeking an experienced Quality Monitoring Office / Compliance Assistant to join our Compliance Team.
The ideal candidate should be able to speak Spanish & Italian fluently and have the ability to appropriately ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform quality monitoring of client communication to ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures
- Translation of documents in English, Italian and Spanish languages
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the maintenance of Anti-money laundering procedures
- Assist with the onboarding and maintenance of PSPs, EMIs and other banking institutions and/or vendors of the Company and collaborate with the Finance and Operations department in this regard or as necessary
- Assist the department with internal compliance audits and regulatory reporting
- Assist with the preparation of required periodic reports as per the regulations
- Assist with compliance aspects according to the local regulations and according to the Company’s best practices
- Assist in tracking of regulatory changes and ensure that necessary changes are implemented in a timely manner
- Work with all departments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Assist on any ad hoc project as per the needs of the department
Experience and Qualifications
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Fluency in Italian and Spanish (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent listening skills
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Capability to learn new things and cooperate within a team
- Any experience in a in a regulatory assistance role and/or quality monitoring/compliance and/or relevant professional experience in regulated entities, preferably a CySEC regulated entity or another regulated environment – an advantage but not essential
- An understanding of Anti-money laundering procedures would be an advantage but not essential
- An understanding of legal terminology would be an advantage but not essential
